I absolutely love the look of these B & W photos with selective coloring! It has been an item that we have seen before and we will likely see again! I loved all the photos that the participants came up with, but I had to narrow it down somewhat, so these were my favorites.

I have a love/hate relationship with chocolate. When I was a child I LOVED chocolate, and soon found out that I was allergic to it. At about the age of 9 my mouth would water when my family ate chocolate in-front of me. Eventually I associated the smell of chocolate with the negative effects and was OK with others eating it around me. This story does have a happy ending, because in the past few years I have been able to eat little bits of chocolate again! Oh, now on to the important part, the voting! – Carly

It sure is a big tough job doing this, I can’t imagine how Kristi had time to do it all. Ang again here to show you my favorites in the “something Pink” category. With Valentine’s Day being in February I figured we’d see a lot of ‘themed’ photos but was pleasantly surprised with the variety put up!

I can honestly say it’s been a lot of fun helping out and would like to pass on one bit of advice to future Guest Judges: GOOD LUCK! I’m kidding really, it’s just quite challenging picking a limited number of favorites when everyone does such a good job. Ironically, I didn’t pick a single one of my own photos, as they say you’re your own worst critic and that is very true of me. I hope you all have agreed with my picks for favorites and even though I had to leave some out, I think everyone did a great job during the month of February!

Here we go again with the first round of Favorites from Photo Hunt #6. The Guest Judges and I divided up the original list and may not necessarily be posting them in order as the items on the list, but this first entry was #1 on list, a Tower. As I was browsing the entries for something romantic, I can’t help but wonder how many were taken on Valentine’s Day. I appreciated that every entry shows a little about the personality of the photographer.
