A Quick Update…
Hey everyone, sorry it is taking me so long to get My Favorite photos posts up…. I have had very little free time the past few weeks. I promise I will finish posting them all before Photo Hunt Challenge #4 is announced on October 1st!
I also have a favor to ask of all of you who refer their friends to this site to view all the photos and to vote. Remember when I asked for your thoughts and feedback after we finished Photo Hunt #1 last April? (Posted on my personal blog, sweetsauer.com). I just wanted to remind everyone that the purpose of the Photo Hunt Challenge is to challenge ourselves and to take better photos; the voting for each category is just for fun. In no way do I want these challenges to become a popularity contest of who can rack up the most votes, which is why I eliminated the Popular vote after Ph#1. Please encourage your friends to look through all the photos and then vote on their favorites rather than asking them to vote for a particular person. No prizes are awarded anyway , the purpose of voting is just to honor really great photography!

Thank you again for doing this. I can only imagine how time consuming these posts are.
As you suggested, I have been voting for the ones I like best, but I haven’t been commenting. Sometimes the one I vote for is not the one I think is technically the very best, but I prefer it for some reason. I will say that since there are not a lot of comments, I don’t feel comfortable critiquing others’ submissions.
I find that I can already guess which photos came from which photographer, just based on looking at them all once before. It’s interesting that even the amateurs have “a style.”
I have hardly picked up my camera this entire month. I am looking forward to the Challenge in October.
