August 2010 Photo Hunt ~ Participant Entries
If you completed the August 2010 Photo Hunt, please add your name/location and the permalink to your entry in Linky Tools by Sept 7th. IT IS VERY IMPORTANT YOU INCLUDE YOUR POST PERMALINK NOT JUST YOUR BLOG URL. ( Example, my blog url is http://www.sweetsauer.com but my permalink for PH#3 is http://www.sweetsauer.com/kristis_bliggitty_blog/2009/09/photo-hunt-challenge-3-my-results.html ). If you need help figuring out how to do this, please let me know ASAP.
I have three Guest Judges who will be helping me choose Favorites for August 2010 Photo Hunt: Samara, Kaye and Rian. Each of the Guest Judges and myself will pick Favorites for 5 different items/categories on the list. We will be going through all participant entries during the first week of September and will be posting our favorites shortly thereafter. A separate post will be dedicated to each item on the list with a poll to vote for your favorite of each. ONLY PHOTOS TAKEN DURING THE MONTH OF August 2010 ARE CONSIDERED FOR FAVORITES. If you included any photos from your archives ( two maximum are allowed), you must state that when you post the photo!!! Hopefully everyone labeled each photo file in the following manner: Yourname-category.jpg (ex: kristi-something musical.jpg). It makes it so much easier to choose favorites when we don’t have to manually type it in for you. Don’t worry about this if you use Flickr, as Flickr will assign a random 20-30 character name to your files and we will have to rename those anyway.

I labeled my photos in Live Writer but I don’t think the labels show up when you click on them….sorry…next hunt I will try to remember to label them when I save them on my computer. Thanks again for another great hunt!

I may have confused you a bit – when I first signed up, I saw that there was already a “Desiree” so I signed up under “Desi”. Then when I saved my jpgs I named them all “Desiree-category” (ex. Desiree-Something Feminine). And then when I linked my post to mr linky I put it under “Desiree Vick”. Hope this isn’t too confusing! Let me know if I need to change anything to make it easier.
I couldn’t copy and past rian’s photo’s–they were protected with a copy right. If you’d like them to be voted on let me know how to copy them–kaye
