October 2010 Photo Hunt ~ Participant Entries
If you completed the October 2010 Photo Hunt, please add your name/location and the permalink to your entry in Linky Tools by November 7th. IT IS VERY IMPORTANT YOU INCLUDE YOUR POST PERMALINK NOT JUST YOUR BLOG URL. ( Example, my blog url is http://www.sweetsauer.com but my permalink for PH#3 is http://www.sweetsauer.com/kristis_bliggitty_blog/2009/09/photo-hunt-challenge-3-my-results.html ). If you need help figuring out how to do this, please let me know ASAP.
I have seven Guest Judges who will be helping me choose Favorites for October 2010 Photo Hunt: Colleen, Artistically Amy, Shannie, Jenn, Faith, Chelsea and Katie. Each of the Guest Judges and myself will pick Favorites for 5 different items/categories on the list and because we expect a great number of entires, each Judge will look through only 40 entries from each of their assigned categories. In other words, each category will be judged by two judges. We will be going through all participant entries during the first week of November and will be posting our favorites shortly thereafter. A separate post will be dedicated to each item on the list with a poll to vote for your favorite of each. ONLY PHOTOS TAKEN DURING THE MONTH OF October 2010 ARE CONSIDERED FOR FAVORITES. If you included any photos from your archives ( two maximum are allowed), you must state that when you post the photo!!! Hopefully everyone labeled each photo file in the following manner: Yourname-category.jpg (ex: kristi-something musical.jpg). It makes it so much easier to choose favorites when we don’t have to manually type it in for you. Don’t worry about this if you use Flickr, as Flickr will assign a random 20-30 character name to your files and we will have to rename those anyway.

Bah. I failed to get even half of the items, but I doubt you’ll have a shortage of entries! I look forward to seeing everyone’s work. Thanks Kristi and Judges for the time you’ll be putting in.
New here. Sorry if this is a stupid question but I created a separate set for the October photo challenge in my Flickr, but have no idea how to enter them into the contest. I’m fairly illiterate when it comes to “permalinks”, etc.
Help please!
Dave, open your set in Flickr. Choose Details to get the view that shows the small images of all of them in the set. Then in the upper right, hit the link for “share this” and then in the pop-down window, go to “Grab the link”
