What is a Photo Hunt Challenge?
A chance to get out, have FUN and explore the world of PHOTOGRAPHY!! It is Inspiration to see things in new ways.
How does it work? On the 1st day of every even month (February, April, June, August, October and December 2010), a new Photo Hunt Challenge will be posted here. The Challenge will involve a list of 20 items/themes/techniques that you must Photograph during the month of the current challenge. At the end of the Challenge Month, each participant will post their photos in one individual entry on a blog or in an online gallery set such as Flickr or Picasa.
At the beginning of the month following the Challenge, I will go through every participant entry and select the photos that stand out as excellent, interesting, creative, artistic, and beautiful photography. My favorite photos will be organized and displayed according to the item/theme/technique with a poll for each so viewers can vote for their favorites in each category.
These Photo Hunt Challenges are open to anyone, with any type of camera, at any skill level. The use of Photoshop and other Photo-editing software is allowed and encouraged.

I have always loved taking pictures but just started getting into photography within the past few years and I am striving to get better every day. By profession I am a teacher in the inner-city and love the work I do.
