Favorite “Something Romantic” Photo Entries

As I was browsing the entries for something romantic, I can’t help but wonder how many were taken on Valentine’s Day.  I appreciated that every entry shows a little about the personality of the photographer.

Please look through the photos and vote for your favorite. The poll will stay open till March 31st. Anyone is allowed to vote but I encourage you to vote for your favorite photo rather than for a particular person. Comments are also welcome

I absolutely loved all of the snow in many of the landscapes.  I used to live up north, but now live in Florida and have been missing the snow a bit.

Ang here, once again.  I must say, I’m extremely envious of all the reflection photos; I had a hard time limiting the favorites for this one.  I did my best but still ended up with over half of the entries as favorites… so be prepared to look through a few!  I honestly don’t even know how I’m going to vote for just one… kudos to all!
Any and every one is welcome (and encouraged) to vote – please vote for your favorite photo, not your favorite photographer.  Please use the poll at the bottom of this post to vote for your favorite.  The poll will stay open until April 5th.

This was such a fun category to judge.  I loved the great variety of photos and how everyone interpreted the theme differently.  I had the most difficulty choosing the top 10 in this category because of all the great entries.

Photo Hunt #6 (Feb 2010)~ Participant Entries

If you completed Photo Hunt Challenge #6, please add your name/location and the permalink to your entry in Mr. Linky sometime by the end of the first week of March.   IT IS VERY IMPORTANT YOU INCLUDE YOUR POST PERMALINK NOT JUST YOUR BLOG URL. If you need help figuring out how to do this, please let me know ASAP.

New for Photo Hunt #6 is the addition of three Guest Judges, Carly, Ang and Nukke.  Each of the Guest Judges and myself will pick Favorites for 5 different items/categories on the list.  We will be going through all participant entries during the first week of March and will be posting our favorites throughout the month. A separate post will be dedicated to each item on the list with a poll to vote for your favorite of each.

ETA: We have several new participants for Photo Hunt #6 who are new to the rules so I  wanted to remind all participants that ONLY PHOTOS TAKEN DURING THE MONTH OF FEBRUARY 2010 ARE CONSIDERED FOR FAVORITES.  If you included any photos from your archives ( two maximum are allowed), you must state that when you post the photo!!!

Photo Hunt #6 ~ February 2010 ~ Details & Sign-Up

Here is the list, all items are open to interpretation!

It is preferred that you take your photos between today (February 1st) and February 28th.  If for some reason you are stuck on the 28th without a few of the items on your list, then you may use a maximum of two photos from your archives, as long as they were taken less than one year ago.  You ARE allowed (and encouraged!) to use Photoshop or other photo-editing software as you’d like (it often adds to the artistic quality of the photo).

It is up to you whether you post your photos on your blog as you go, or wait until February 28th to unveil them and make it a surprise.  One thing I ask is that everyone who participates posts all 20 photos in one single post on their blogs or in a set in an online gallery on February 28th/March 1st.

A new post will go up here at photohuntchallenges.com on March 1st. I will be using the Mr. Linky auto-link widget.  Anyone who completes Photo Hunt #6 will need to add their name & the URL permalink of where their Photo Hunt photos are posted.  Everyone who adds their name to the auto-link will have their photos considered for my Favorites.   After I go through all of the participants’ entries, I will post my favorite photos for each of the 2o items on the list in a separate blog post with a poll for each.  Please note that I will not include archived photos in my favorites (it hardly seems fair!)  Anyone who votes is encouraged to vote based on their favorite photo, not just for a particular photographer. Voting is also open to anyone and everyone. The polls are open for exactly one month from the time I create them and I create each post as time allows throughout the month.  After all polls are closed I will compile the photos of all the winners and will display them here on the photohuntchallenges.com blog.
